Missions

We extensively cooperate with the Warren County Baptist Association, Mississippi Baptist State Convention, and Southern Baptist Convention, to promote missions and facilitate the spread of the gospel to all people.

We enjoy several regular missions opportunities in our church like taking mission trips to a orphanage in Honduras or to Atlanta for Operation Christmas Child Shoebox Ministry. We have even had the honor of some of our members be invited to go to Peru to help Samaritan's Purse distribute shoeboxes to children. We also work to offer mission projects locally and want to cultivate new missions projects for the future. But, whatever we do, we want Jesus' name to be known and His name to be praised!

Dubai Mission Trip 2013

United Christian Church of DubaiPurpose: To minister to the children of missionaries, Middle Eastern Christians, and members of United Christian Church of Dubai (UCCD) during a missions and evangelism conference featuring John Piper and Mark Dever. Dubai is the largest city of the United Arab Emirates (UAE). Approximately 25% of the population of UAE are international expatriates. UCCD has members from 45 countries. Among the citizenship of UAE, 100% are Muslims. Among the foreign nationals residing in the UAE, 9% are Christian. Though there is "religious freedom" in the UAE, it is illegal to proselytize to another religion from Islam. Therefore, the spread of the Gospel in UAE depends on evangelism taking place through the daily lives and witness of Christians who live there. Additionally, many of these Christians have become believers since living in Dubai, and will return to countries where missions and evangelism are not welcome, so they will become the missionaries to their own people there. This conference will equip them to be more effective, and the ministry we provide to children will enable more adults to be involved in the conference, as well as providing some special ministry and equipping to the children.
